Octane is Beautiful

I worked with fellow CMD Masters student Natasha Shevchenko to render a Plant Cell in Cinema 4D using Octane. The cell was purchased on TurboSquid and was a native Maya file. We ran into several issues bringing it into C4D, but in the end, exporting out separate pieces worked and registered well in the app. Using Octane required changing all the materials to Octane friendly ones. This allowed us to put in a little bit of our own artistic interpretation and I think the results are stunning! We used a PixelLab seamless background and lighting setup for the hero shot and did a camera movement to create the animation. Christian intends to use it for Alumni presentations in NYC and Washington DC.
